Speed
The main difference from the previous iPhone 3G is that the 3GS it is much quicker in loading applications. Web pages in Safari load up in a fraction of the time and so do email attachments. Improvements have also been made to the 3D graphics. Effectively the 3GS is 2x faster and more responsive than the iPhone 3G.
Video
A great update is that you can now records videos, edit, and share it. Video can be taken in portrait or landscape and you can also cut footage using the start and end points. Easy to post directly to MobileMe, YouTube or sync it with you Mac or PC using iTunes.
Camera
We now have a 3-megapixel camera which is a slightly better upgrade than the previous model which takes great photos. It has a built in autofocus and a handy new tap features that allows you to tap the display of the area you want in focus. click on the picture below to see the actual image taken from an iPhone 3GS - the left image using the tap focus feature:
Voice Control
This recognises the names in your Contacts and also knows all the music on your iPod. So if you want to call someone or play so music, you simply have to ask.
